Supporting St John's
Do you love our church of St John the Baptist, in its beautiful setting down by the Locks?
Do you see it as “your” church, without which Hillmorton would be so much poorer?
Do you only visit occasionally, perhaps at those significant times of celebration or loss?
Would you consider becoming a “Friend of St John’s”, willing to give towards the upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds? The amount, however large or small, would be decided by you, and kept confidential.
We have a lively and growing congregation who give generously to cover not only the running costs of St John’s, but also to enable us to give to our community in a variety of ways.
However, we have on-going maintenance costs, as well as a desire to continue to make our building more comfortable, accessible and fit for purpose in the 21st century.
If you would like to contribute on a regular basis to our on-going ministry in Hillmorton, there are three ways to give:
1. Join the Parish Giving Scheme. Applications for that scheme are available in church, or from the vicarage.
2. Set up a Standing Order with your bank. Our bank details are:
